Looking Glass First Use

Hi everyone!

I am a new team member in this amazing group! I just started using Looking Glass application after I have watched some "get started" tutorials to have an idea of how to use it and how new users are going to do to learn it.

I am impressed with how easy it was to build my own short story in just few minutes using some of the Looking Glass templates! This tool is very powerful, and I still have many features to explore on it.

Actually, the hardest part up to now was the installation process (command-line, third-part software configurations, and stuff), but the tutorials to do it were also very helpful and clear.

I hope I can publish my own work for all of you here soon!

What are you initial thoughts on the tutorials themselves? Do you have any feelings as to what you would have liked to have seen more of? Did they go too fast? What would you change about them?

Hi Jordana!
I liked the tutorials. They are very useful for beginners.
I could watch just once each step, with pauses, and repeat them..

I just think it is missing something about more advanced methods.. For example, in the ball play, the tutorial shows the ball moving from a character to another, but when the project was played, it shows a character kicking the ball, so it moves. However I couldn't make this kicking action, or any other interaction actions so far..
