Michael Eason has taught business and computer science courses at Stratford High School in Goose Creek, South Carolina, since 1999. Prior to teaching, he earned an MBA from Duke University and worked fifteen years in the business world in various roles including computer programmer, energy commodity trader, and investment banker. Michael holds the Computer Science AP Instructor Endorsement and is certified by Oracle to teach all three computer programming courses available through Oracle Academy. Michael is active in curriculum development and teacher education, and has taught Oracle certification courses to teachers across the US and in Europe. His current objectives are to increase enrollment in challenging computer science courses and increase the number of students who complete a four-course sequence in computer science.
