Paul is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis. His research focuses on enabling people without programming experience to remix functionality from other people's programs into their own. He designed both the Hastings and Dinah tools to provide this support. Currently he is designing a tool that leverages an interactive stack visualization to help non-programers find code corresponding to graphical output. He will be joining the faculty of Blackburn College in fall of 2012.
