Mary, who now goes by the name Ari, graduated in May 2013 from Washington University in St. Louis. In the past she has worked on the Challenges section of the website, with the goal of creating an environment that fosters friendly, motivating competition between users. She has also contributed to the Following system and to the site's sorting mechanism, the combination of which allows beginning users to find and learn from other, more advanced users by exposing them to relevant content. Additionally, she helped with the development of an interface to allow the sharing of content between users in a more direct, personalized way, and did some work on general site design, including the preview display for worlds, the tagging system, etc.
